Teleport to spawn after leaving

I have a Minecraft: Bedrock Edition world that I imported from the Legacy editions of Minecraft on Nintendo Switch. Recently I have noticed that when i click "Save and quit to title" and exit the game, go back in, it says YOU DIED even though i was in my house safe. I took a closer look and the place where "I died" was my spawn. I am playing Minecraft Bedrock Version 1.8.1. Please help this is very enraging.
