MCPE crashing continuously

I keep tryng to open my MCPE app but it keeps crashing. It will show the title screen smoothly, but if I dare press the "play" button, it freezes completely and then crashes. I have turned my phone off and then turned it back on and I have restarted my phone and no change. I really don't want to have to delete the app along with my worlds and redownload it. Please help. Thanks.
