when you install the beta textures for Minecraft, your game will begin to descend into hell. Upon loading the game, it will take 30 seconds of black screening and another 30 obnoxious seconds of loading. After that's complete, done, and over with, the game will present a delightful message: Failed to load resources... Shortly after the game will freeze for 5 minutes and crash.
