Structure block not working on MCPE 1.8.24 android

The structure block simply does not work when i try to tap on it on my phone. Tried using a mouse still no use. Searched at the internet but has no lead. Am I doing something wrong? Doing it in a creative flat world on default gamerule settings and in-game settings.
