Multiplayer not working

Trying to use crossplay between Nintendo Switch and the Windows 10 version of Minecraft.  I am unable to join any worlds created on the Switch from the Windows 10 edition.  Meanwhile, while playing on the Switch I am able to join worlds created on the Windows 10 edition.  I’ve contacted Mojang several ways and have been redirected every single time.
