Bug with experience and anvil (repairing/enchanting item).

When I went to upgrade my helmet for respiration 3 from respiration 1, I went firstly to get some experience, but I've got more than required, but not reached next level (level: 4), and when I did upgrade in anvil, it took all experince with experience next to level: 4, without reaching it. On java edition all is okay.
