On apple iOS devices the scaffolding you can't go down in but you can go up it

Basically on my iPhone (6s+) and my iPad Pro Minecraft pe's New scaffolding you can go up but when I crouch you can't go down. And it's the same for my friends and family. Today there was an update, but it wasn't fixed.
