Player continues moving after releasing d-pad

On my Nexus 4, sometimes when I move or look, I keep moving in the same direction even after letting go of the touch D-Pad, or I try looking in a different direction, but the game automatically keeps turning me back to the same direction
What I expected to happen was...:
To move in the desired direction/ look around

What actually happened was...:
Kept moving in a single direction without touching screen
Could not turn away from a certain position
Steps to Reproduce:
Touching the screen in more than two areas usually causes this bug
