Bamboo Breaking Bedrock

Whilst watching Eckosoldier’s Soldier Adventures series (Ep.83), Ecko showed Bamboo can break bedrock in the nether. This was on the latest 1.8 update on Xbox One.

 I then tried it out on my creative testing world (iOS mobile) to recreate the bug. 

Place dirt and bonemeal bamboo, then as it grows one stage it replaces the bedrock. Continue this by replacing dirt and bamboo until it penetrates the bedrock nether ceiling.
