Newly created entities are spawning in Invisible

I've created a new entity and am leveraging 100% vanilla controllers/textures/animations/etc. However, when I try to spawn my entity via /summon or a Spawn Egg, the entity is invisible. You can see a shadow underneath them.

I've validated all the json in my resource/behavior pack and still can't figure out what is going wrong.
