can’t play with WiFi on

I bought this game today and after 2 hours I’m having issues with it.Why can’t I play with my WiFi on? it only shows white screen , playing while WiFi is off has no issue but with the WiFi on I can’t play. I’m so disappointed right now and “also I’m playing on IPad 2017 it’s not in the device section” I’m substituting IPad Air 2 but device is “IPad 2017”
