smelting in new 0.7.0 is impossible

Smelting in new 0.7.0 is impossible

What I expected to happen was to smelt after getting a stack of iron in survival mode

What actually happened was that I couldn't smelt my iron or any food because it didn't let me put in fuel in the furnace.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get anything you can put in a furnace.
2. Try and put fuel in the furnace.
3. Now try and get anything out of the furnace.
