Gigantic Items Can Appear Above Player

I wasn't sure if this relates to the bug where Zombie Pigmen have their swords in the wrong position or not that I found on here but just in case i'm creating this issue; Whenever I enter the nether I have this giant floating gold sword above my head that looks enchanted on one side but goes away once I exit through the portal.
