Clone command not working

The clone command works but not all the time, I'm trying to make something where you press a button and it ask are you sure u want to to whatever the button does, and of course then I have to make it clone another set of command blocks to actually do what I want, the block at the end of the chain (the one that clones the 2nd command chain) doesn't work, it says "_ blocks cloned" but it didn't actually clone, I've been trying for about an hour now to fix this but I believe it's a problem with the beta
