All previous worlds have disappeared and won't sync

Minecraft crashed as I was playing. I am now not able to load any previous games. All worlds listed are from months ago and said to be corrupted and fail to sync.  All worlds I make since the crash vanish as soon as the Xbox is turned off.  All attempts to sync fail each and every time.
