Compound Creater does not let any items expect the compound to be placed for crafting

The Compound creater does not let me place any item such as TNT, Torches, glass panes etc. for crafting, however it does let me place all the compounds added during the Chemistry Update. As a result i am unable to make Underwater TNT, hardened glass pane etc. I would be happy if you could resolve this bug.
I play on Redmi 4.
