Opening Minecraft Repeatedly Crashes Tablet

This has been an issue for a few months now, but my daughter cannot open Minecraft on her tablet. Upon opening, it crashes to a black screen and the tablet is frozen. The only way out, is to hold the power button to shut it down.

I've confirmed that her tablet processor does support NEON. It's Android 6.0 and the model number is YY-107H. The Minecraft version we have installed is 1.7.0.13.
