Minecraft worlds restarting

I just downloaded the Windows 10 edition and sometimes when I log back into a world all of my progress is lost. I spawn back at spawn and have nothing in my inventory and when I go to where I have built something every thing that i worked on is gone. It is like I just started a new game.
