Eaten cakes' inner texture is the same as the side texture

Steps to reproduce:

1. Place a cake and do anything that makes you be able to eat (going to Creative mode, changing to Peaceful difficulty, etc).
2. Eat at least 2 pieces

Expected result:

The cake's inner is different from the outside.

 

What actually happens:

The cake's side texture is shown inside as well.
