Minecraft pe crashing past minecraft screen

after the latest release Minecraft stopped loading.  The app goes through the white loading screen, to the white Minecradt screen and to the main Minecraft screen and then shuts down.

 

We have deleted the app and reinatalled, restarted the Ad several times but nothing has worked to make the app load.
