Unable to join Switch worlds

After the latest update I am unable to join any Switch worlds unless through the cross-platform option.

"Joinable Nintendo Switch friends" does nothing.
"Joinable Cross-platform friends" works, even when the "cross-platform" friend is another Switch user.
