Can’t login to Microsoft account on switch

On my Nintendo switch when I try to sign in to my Microsoft account it does not work a message pops saying I can’t. I have tried doing almost everything imaginable but I have had no avail. I have seen people on the reddit and other websites who have the same problem. The only way to fix it is to delete your save data which I will not do because i have spent countless hours on my world and that would delete the mine coins I got trying to get realms which failed and this is how I discovered the issue. Something that I did before that might give you more context is sign into the same Microsoft account on my switch. Sorry that this is so long but I am very infuriated that I cannot use realms
