Eating food in Creative mode (WORKS AS INTENDED)

I know that this report is not as detailed as my previous reports, but I don't really know how to properly explain this issue.

After a recent Minecraft update I have noticed that I can eat food in Creative mode, which makes no sense, and I don't know who would do such a thing.

Who would do something like this?

 

EDIT: I'm sorry, I did not read the in-game changelog until now, and I should have read it before I submitted this report. This ticket can be closed since it is working as intended.
