/testfor @a[scores = { example = 1 }] doesn't work

I've made a map for MCPE windows 10, but I made it in the 1.7 betas.

Since upgrading to 1.8.0.8 beta, the command blocks have stopped working.

I have nearly 50 command blocks with commands that include _" @p[scores =

{example=1}

] "_

however, now, there's an error. It says

""Syntax Error: Unexpected "example": at "p[scores = \{>>example<< = 1}]..."".

I believe this is an error with the scoreboard commands?...
