When your in water and you place blocks there is a weird bubble gaps you can't get up because of them

Please fix its a weird bug when u place a block or stair block by the edge if water by the land in water is created a gap when u break it please fix the bug it did not do it before the update.!! Thanks mojang! Please fix and update minecraft more often its awesome
