It stays on the white Minecraft screen then leaves and I cant do anything else

It stays on the white screen then goes to my home screen and it does nothing else. If I want to actually play the game, I have to uninstall and reinstall the app and then I can play. But if I leave it for more than like 10 mins without playing it it does the same white screen thing. I'm trying to play it on the one plus 6.
