Urgent! - Minecraft freezes whole computer when opened

I have a problem where a little while after opening the game the game starts to keep freezing and unfreezing. I tried to leave but my mouse wouldn't move. After I got it moving I was able to close Minecraft. However, the mouse was still freezing and unfreezing and nothing responded to being clicked. I tried to open the Ctr + Alt + Del menu but that wouldn't open. Eventually, I had to force shut down my computer to get it working again.

 

I have deleted Minecraft and will have to play Java until the problem is resolved. unfortunately, I do not have any files which will help as the computer didn't blue screen.
