Won't open. Crashes straight away. Unable to access Minecraft PE at all.

Minecraft PE won't open on my daughter's Samsung Tab 2.  She has had MCPE for three years and has played happily on previous devices and this device for the past 6 months.  She cannot access it for 2 weeks now.  It's very frustrating.  She is very upset she cannot play MCPE.
