When I load in a texture pack (both texture packs) into a new world in 1.6.0, it boots me to the home screen

When I create a world or load in a texture pack, before I could even click on one of the texture packs, It boots me back. When I click the behavior or resource packs, I wait a few.second and the booting happens. Pls help me! I don't want to not play this awesome games!!!!
