Connection lag in singleplayer world

Everytime I enter my survival world, I have a sort of lag that I should never experience in singleplayer. It feels like I'm in a bad connection Realm, with the fluids taking a while to flow, the chests taking a long time to open, the dropped items flickering, etc.
