Flat world water bug

Dear mojang

I created a flat world and made a pool but when i took a swim i coudn't even see the walls

What i think is hapening is the water mechanics say the deeper you go the les you see
On a normal world most of the water is at Y=50 on a flat world my pool is at Y=4 so i see nothing can you maybe change the water mechanics on a flat world it would help a lot
