MCPE-36335Flowing water no longer pops Cocoa pods in automatic farms

I built the automatic farm in the link above, and the circuits all worked, and the water pulses as it's supposed to. But the water gets hung up on the cocoa pods instead of knocking them off.
Running Minecraft for Windows 10, v1.5.2
