"Adventure" Mode disappears when changing default gamemode

When you go to a world, and go to Menu > Game Settings > Default Gamemode you cannot see an "Adventure" mode only Creative and Survival. Note that I am saying when you change the world settings while playing the game not when I’m changing the default gamemode in the “Worlds” tab.
