Minecraft Opens To A Black Screen

Hi

This issue does not affect me personally, I'm just doing this for my sister who happens to own a Samsung Galaxy S7. When she opens the Minecraft app on her phone, it just proceeds to show a black screen that just stays frozen and does nothing. My sister has tried rebooting and clearing the apps cache, although nothing seems to work.

Update - My sister just updated Minecraft on 8/7/2018 to version 1.5.3, and this issue has not been fixed.
