Everything I place or break is reset soon afterwards

20 seconds to a minute after I break or place blocks, everything I just did is undone. I have been unable to find any information on this, and I uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft, but it still happened. My world is 5.4MB, and I feel like it could have something to do with that, though older world's of bigger sizes have not given me this problem.
