Anvil Duplication Glitch

There seems to be glitch that anvils will duplicate stackable items. Here is how it's pulled off:

When in the anvil interface, place at least 2 stackable items (such as diamonds) into the first slot. You will then rename it, the name does not matter. Once you see the renamed item in the output slot, take HALF of the item and you should end up with a duplicated item(s) plus the original item in the first slot.

 

This glitch seems to work on all bedrock platforms
