Crouching gamer tag bug

What happens is you crouch/sneak and whenever you open your inventory or the game chat your Minecraft character immediately uncrouches which reveals your gamer tag. This never happened to me on the old Minecraft Xbox one edition or java edition so I assume it is a bug on the Bedrock edition.
