Possible Experience Exploit

Quite possibly a serious XP exploit using a furnace and any stack-able item that gives XP on smelting (All of them). Apologies if this has already been reported, but as I was playing on a LAN world the family runs for a cooperative experience, I noticed a peculiar glitch occurring when I smelted my iron ore. I would select the product in the furnace and try to move it to the inventory to collect it, but I found that if the items were to cause the stack to overflow its max item count, the items would then return to the furnace while still awarding the XP granted from smelting the item. I then attempted to replicate the glitch on a separate world and found that it was easily repeated and that it works with a much larger variety of items than the original occurrence.
