On old imported xbox 360 saves on an xbox 1, slimes are Not SPAWNING in SWAMPS

I have an xbox 360 minecraft save and I added it to my xbox one and I was trying to go get some slime balls from the swamp and I waited all night and not a single slime spawned. I am using the latest version of minecraft on the xbox one. (Not minecraft xbox one edition)
