Can't sign in to Xbox live

Hi all I am on an Alcatel 5056I smartphone using MCPE 1.5.4 and I'm trying to join a server that I made and it wants me to sign in to Xbox live  but when I try to sign in it loads for about 5 seconds then send me back to MCPE without being signed in
