Redstone not powering Consistently (in special situations)

First of all I want to say that the Device is iphone 6s but there were no options for it.

The bug is when a sticky piston pushing and pulling another piston for a 0.1 second tick,t and when I power the second piston which supposedly will get powered when the first piston is extended, it doesn't always extend.

In the video, it took me about 5 tries to get the piston extending. It happens more with redstone torches and levers but less with redstone blocks.
