Invite friends list duplication

So I've noticed that when I sign into my Microsoft account for cross-platform play, and then the Switch goes into sleep mode (disconnecting it from online), when I come back, I have to re-sign-into the Microsoft account.

Then, in-game, when I go to invite friends to my world, my friends appear multiple times on the list. The number of duplicate entries seems dependent on how many re-logs I have to go through.
