Pattern Texture pack crashes game

Starting the game with the Pattern Texture pack crashes the game. This pack worked on the previous Minecraft for Switch game, but it crashes on the Minecraft for Switch that was released June 21. On occasion it won’t crash, but instead will load the normal textures with purple and black checkered patterns over everything.
