Horses dont jump up a block when leaded and are going up a gradual hill

Today i was playing survival and i rounded up horses. I was trying to take them to the farm but they kept getting stuck on a block while trying to climb up. However they didnt even try to jump and they kept on getting stuck on the side of the block. I was only 2 blocks away so i know i wasnt streatching the lead too far. Effects latest bedrock version for xbox one(not beta)
