Nexus 7 (2013, wifi) does not render mob bodies

On Minecraft Beta 1.6.0.1, entity bodies don't render.

using LineageOS 14.1 with Magisk root if it matters

(sorry if i cant be rooted or using a custom rom, this is my first time reporting a bug)
