Bows on baby and adult villagers

So I loaded up a new world with a mod which I turned off a minute later because it was getting rather annoying and I found a village a couple blocks away but when I got there I noticed the villagers where holding bows like a skeleton... I don't know if this is a glitch or if it's included in a  new update or if I'm blind but yea... there was a baby villager doing it  too.. plz respond mojang, thanks
