Error message "There was a problem loading this world"

Minecraft Pocket Edition - latest Playstore version -
device - Wiko View - Android version 7.1.2
After start app, select:
Play -> Create New -> Create New World -> Create
Error message "There was a problem loading this world"
Click "OK" - and we are returned to the app start screen.
Not found this on any searches - please advise how to get the game to work.
