Can Place Block Above Bubble Colom

When i Was Testing The New Version 1.5.0.10 I made A Testing World and start testing Then I Test The Bubble colom and i want to see it from above i try to place a carpet and see if it stop and i dont was expecting that the carpet will place and it stay there like it placed in a solid block
