new world new map broken

hope this is the right one, the newist jupdate out as of june 2018 when starting a new world and having got your starting map out, you click on it and the map changed to a used map (map1) but you cant see anything on the map i mean 100% blank no player marker no land no water nothing! also hope this is all correct as cant see what im typing as the keyboard display on screen covers almost everything
