Crash while generating world

Since the most recent update, we have not been able to launch Minecraft on the kids' iPad.

When we try to load a world or create a new one, during the "generating world" loading bar, the app closes and the iPad goes back to home screen.

We've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it hasn't helped.
